We Stand Behind Everything We Do! We are large enough to serve and small enough to care. We use quality equipment and stand behind our work. Asheville Security Systems is licensed in North Carolina. All employees are registered with North Carolina Private Protective Services. This means their backgrounds have been checked and fingerprints are on file.  E. J. Mashburn was born in Haywood County, North Carolina. He graduated from North Carolina State University with a degree in Engineering. He was selling fire alarms before smoke detectors were invented. In 1977 he started Alert which he sold to MB Haynes Electric and then purchased Asheville Security Systems in 1984.
E. J. has been active in the North Carolina Burglar Fire Alarm Association for many years. He was a board member from 1992 through 1997 and president in 1996. List of Our Licenses:
